Views of the City


These are a few images from an ongoing series of urban landscapes “Views of the City”. The idea is inspired by Chris Steel Perkins documentary book of Urban Landscapes “Fuji” in which he used the iconic mount Fuji as a backdrop for his images depicting contemporary Japan where tourism, farming, industry, religion, urbanization, locomotion, housing and recreation, traditional ceremony and religion all are framed by the potent national symbol of the mountain. “Fuji”.
